PCBA Manufacturing Test Engineer, Kuiper

Job Description

Amazon's Project Kuiper is seeking a PCBA Manufacturing Test Engineer to deploy, optimize, and continuously improve test systems for Low Earth Orbit satellites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience deploying, using, and training others on the use of complex test systems including RF functional tests, high power electrical tests, ICT/bed-of-nails fixtures, and Flying Probe test
• 5+ years of experience integrating software and hardware systems
• Experience with Linux/scripting

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and optimize test setup at Contract Manufacturing sites
• Perform PCBA debug and root-cause failure analysis
• Collaborate with R&D and Test Development teams to improve test systems
• Analyze data to identify failure trends and provide recommendations for improvement
• Develop procedures and documentation for test operators
• Train operators on test processes and support certification programs
• Provide feedback to Test Development team on test coverage and recommendations
• Run small teams to accomplish objectives
