Security Engineer III, AppSec

Job Description

The Security Engineer in Team LOAF is responsible for developing AI security solutions to prevent security findings from reaching production. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in security engineering and a passion for problem-solving and collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Application Security
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, or application security
• Experience reading and writing in at least one programming language
• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, similar technology degrees or 5+ years' equivalent technology experience

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to identify security needs and develop AI-driven solutions to prevent findings from reaching production
• Analyze technical root causes of security findings to assess and prioritize risks
• Evaluate and enhance existing secure frameworks and paved paths to improve security outcomes
• Prototype and implement AI-based security tools to proactively detect vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and align security solutions with customer needs
• Communicate complex security risks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Influence team processes and priorities to drive secure, high-impact outcomes
