Sr. Operations Engineer, Robotics

Job Description

As a Sr. Operations Engineer at Amazon, you will lead cross-functional projects to develop and deliver automation and material handling solutions globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation
• Experience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)
• Experience supporting deployment of new product/technology and/or large material handling and automation installations in a construction environment to include safety and permitting requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage challenging cross-functional projects and lead the delivery of engineering solutions
• Coordinate system installations, qualifications, and optimizations
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project milestones and schedules
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiencies
• Travel domestically up to 75% to support project implementations
