Security Engineer, AWS AppSec

Job Description

As a Security Engineer at Amazon Web Services, you'll be responsible for securing, validating, and sustaining services and solutions at massive scale to improve the businesses and lives of millions of people worldwide.

Requirements

• MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with mobile security, threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration, and network security
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, application, database, or storage security

Responsibilities

• Application security reviews
• Mobile security reviews
• Secure architecture design
• Threat modeling
• Projects and research work as needed
• Security training and outreach to internal development teams
• Security guidance documentation
• Security tool development
• Security metrics delivery and improvements
• Assistance with recruiting activities and administrative work
