Sr. CAD Engineer, ASIC

Job Description

Senior CAD Engineer role at Project Kuiper, responsible for installing and maintaining EDA tools and flows for digital design teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• 7+ years of silicon digital EDA flow development and/or digital design experience
• Familiar with digital RTL code checks and implementation, including Lint, CDC, RDC, SDC
• Familiar with digital design verification methodology and debugging techniques
• Familiar with basic Synthesis and Formal Verification methodology and flow development experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver digital design implementation flows to design teams using various silicon processes
• Develop, regress, and deploy digital front end flows including RTL static checks and design verification methodology
• Develop, regress and deploy digital implementation flows including Synthesis and Formal Verification
• Support and troubleshoot CAD flow usage to help digital design teams meet PPA targets
• Develop standardized CAD flows for parallel design developments based on various process technologies
• Troubleshoot digital tool flow usage and deploy solutions independently
• Build scalable and efficient flows using scripting languages like TCL, Python, etc.
• Optimize design PPA by leveraging nuances of process technologies
