Security Engineer, Healthcare Security

Job Description

Amazon's Healthcare Security organization is currently hiring for a Security Engineer to help lead a team of security engineers tackling challenging AI security problems at scale.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software services
• 3+ years experience implementing security controls for software services
• Foundational understanding of AI and how agentic AI functions
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own the security of AI workloads building protections that enable secure development of Amazon’s healthcare services and continue to protect customer data
• Partner with engineering leaders in Amazon Health Services to securely implement AI and agentic services
• Work closely with customers, partner teams, and foundational engineering teams to ensure customer needs are addressed effectively
• Drive adoption and integration of Amazon's paved path security solutions across subsidiaries
• Recruit, coach, develop, and scale a team of world class security engineers
