Job Description

Seeking an innovative Mechanical Engineer to join the Store Development Team, responsible for creating world-class shopping experiences for customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in the field of engineering in commercial/retail buildings
• Knowledge of Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Refrigeration Codes
• Ability to manage high-level meetings and discussions with technical and non-technical participants
• Strong project management experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
• Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Define, document, communicate and own mechanical and plumbing engineering design standards
• Maintain basis of design (BOD) for mechanical and plumbing disciplines
• Develop and execute technical goals related to mechanical and plumbing cost reduction, continuous improvement, and sustainability
• Manage relationships with third-party engineering consultants
• Track and manage quality and cost of consultant work product
• Review CDs and bulletins for scope, accuracy, completeness, and cost targets for new stores and renovations
• Conduct periodic site inspections and facility audits to review quality and operation of installed systems
