Microsoft is seeking a Software Engineer focused on security to develop software, tools, and code to ensure the highest standards for security are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, OR equivalent experience
• Proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Responsibilities

• Review and break down work items into tasks with stakeholder collaboration
• Keep abreast of security technologies and best practices for continuous secure improvements
• Apply secure coding standards and best practices through code reviews
• Utilize debugging and security tools to address issues in product features
• Support quality assurance plans and integration of automation into testing
• Contribute to data analysis and feedback integration for product engineering decisions
• Participate in live service operations and support telemetry data integration
• Develop and apply best practices for reliable and secure code building
