Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Join a collaborative team working on orchestrating virtual machine workflows on Microsoft Azure. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead features that run on millions of nodes and collaborate across organizations to meet customer demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Rust, C, C++, C# OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience of designing, building and shipping high-quality system software.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determining user requirements for a scenario in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Developing design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
• Implementing, optimizing, debugging, and refactoring code to improve performance and maintainability.
• Guiding other engineers, monitoring systems, and restoring services for simple and complex problems.
• Adapting to new trends and technical solutions to improve product availability and performance.
