Senior Design Verification Engineer

Job Description

Microsoft is looking for a Senior Design Verification Engineer to join the Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering team responsible for the Cloud Infrastructure and foundational technologies for various Microsoft online businesses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years technical engineering experience OR Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience
• 4+ years of industry experience in design verification with delivering complex ASIC or SOC
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Establish as an integral member of a design verification team focusing on verifying functions and features of AI components
• Lead a pre-silicon verification team for the development of custom IP and SS components
• Collaborate with architecture and design teams to ensure implementation meets intent
• Write, execute, enhance, and debug stimulus, scoreboards, checkers, and assertions
• Develop UVM components for test code and verification simulation environments
• Apply Agile development methodologies and provide technical leadership through mentorship and teamwork
