Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer position in the Hardware Security team at Microsoft Azure focuses on transforming and evolving hardware security in all Microsoft products and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ year experience designing, developing, and shipping large scale software products and services.
• Experience designing, developing, and shipping device drivers for Windows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test low level systems code such as Pluton firmware or Windows Device Drivers to support Pluton Secure Processor on new and existing platforms.
• Contribute to the project engineering plan with a focus on accountability, learning, and quality.
• Evaluate and assess emerging technologies in hardware security, define requirements, develop a roadmap, and scope project milestones.
