Software Engineer

Job Description

Join as a Software Engineer II or Senior Software Engineer in the Windows Servicing and Delivery team at Microsoft to work on building and delivering Windows Operating System updates at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of technical engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Windows operating system internals
• Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications on Azure
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with OpenAI APIs or similar LLM-based platforms

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing software and services at scale
• Contributing to identifying dependencies and developing design documents
• Integrating instrumentation for telemetry data on system behavior
• Creating a clear plan for testing and assuring quality of solutions
• Maintaining technical relationships with partner teams and providing leadership
