Principal Software Engineer

Job Description

Microsoft is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join their Dynamics 365 Customer Experience Applications Team to design and implement features for their omnichannel customer service applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• 5+ years' experience developing real-time, high-availability, low latency systems and distributed services
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software components and services
• Lead initiatives to deliver complex features, improve product quality, and transform operations
• Pioneer the use of state-of-the-art new technologies
• Lead technical discussions and bring new ideas to the table
• Own quality and devops for the code
• Work with Product Managers, Architects, and UX Designers to design and specify new features
• Develop software that empowers customers to optimize their business processes
• Identify the need for internal tools that improve the teams’ quality and productivity
