Principal Software Engineer

Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their Power Platform and D365 team to drive infrastructure, platform, and application efficiencies with expertise in C#/C++ and database technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 5+ years of industry software engineering experience
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Work across platform and application engineering teams to detect and address inefficiencies in infrastructure
• Develop and maintain AI solutions, analytics, reporting solutions, and pipelines
• Generate insights related to customer segmentation and operational efficiency
• Engage in design discussions to drive general improvements across the technology stack
