Principal Program Management Manager, 1P Services Forecasting & Planning

Job Description

Microsoft Cloud Planning (MCP) is seeking a qualified individual to lead the team responsible for forecasting, planning, and managing capacity for Azure Data Services and other offerings within Microsoft's Cloud.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
• 6+ years experience in the relevant fields
• 4+ years people management experience
• 3+ years proven analytical skills and knowledge
• 2+ years experience with demand forecasting and planning in Cloud and/or high-tech hardware supply chain

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in forecasting, planning, and managing capacity for Azure Data Services
• Estimate consumption usage, plan large scale migrations, and develop efficiency plans with engineering
• Partner with supply planning on procurement and execution strategies
• Deliver high quality, accurate, and stable rack demand plans for standard compute and storage hardware
• Collaborate with leaders across the organization in Engineering Groups, Finance, and other functions
