Principal Technical Program Manager - CoreAI role at Microsoft focusing on delivering customer success with next-generation AI-powered development tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering writing production code and understanding developer workflows deeply
• 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
• 3+ years of experience evangelizing tooling by writing guides, giving demos, and mentoring teams
• 2+ years of experience with AI-based development tools like GitHub Copilot, custom LLM applications, prompt-based tools, or related ML-driven systems
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Champion the adoption of first-party AI development tools across the company
• Lead internal campaigns to promote AI tooling adoption
• Build metrics and telemetry frameworks to measure adoption, satisfaction, and productivity gains
• Present insights, roadblocks, and progress to product and engineering leadership
• Be the internal voice of the developer and stay ahead of AI and developer tooling trends
