Principal Program Manager - Detections & Response

Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives in threat detection and response within the Assume Breach team of Microsoft 365.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• 8+ years experience in program management, product management, or software development
• 6+ years experience delivering complex programs in security, cloud services, or enterprise software
• 4+ years experience in threat modeling, incident response, and security operations
• 4+ years experience working with large-scale data systems and analytical frameworks
• Ability to meet security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs on proactive threat identification and mitigation
• Develop scalable solutions with threat intelligence, engineering, and product teams
• Drive adoption of graph-based and analytical techniques for security data
• Define and execute program roadmaps aligned with security strategy
• Champion a culture of Assume Breach readiness and security-first thinking
• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate program status to leadership
