Technical Program Manager II

Job Description

Join the Microsoft Azure Core team as a Technical Program Manager II in the datacenter power efficiency team to lead infrastructure efficiency initiatives and drive cross-functional alignment for scalable deployment of datacenter power utilization technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
• 1+ years of experience in building dashboards and analyzing and tracking metrics
• 1+ years of experience reading and/or writing code
• Experience in datacenter infrastructure
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Work with Software and Hardware Engineering to design technical solutions
• Identify risks and propose data-based mitigations
• Define success criteria and collaborate with others to implement features for cross-functional projects
• Coordinate and ensure alignment across teams
• Help deliver on roadmap for feature groups with minimal supervision
• Track project schedules, develop staging and implementation, and stay updated with governance programs
• Drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and partnering with other departments to collect performance metrics
• Contribute to customer support and participate in direct customer engagements
