Software Engineer - Hybrid Cloud Networking

Job Description

Microsoft Azure is looking for a Software Engineer - Hybrid Cloud Networking to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 1+ year(s) experience in areas such as C#, Golang, C++, gRPC, Linux/Unix/Windows systems programming, Networking, Distributed Systems, Virtualization, Designing and running large-scale fault-tolerant infrastructure services, RESTful Services, Proficient Design & Programming skills
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Determine user requirements for a set of features
• Develop design documents for a product area with little oversight
• Implement code for a product, service, or feature
• Break down larger work items into smaller work items and provide estimation
• Monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions
• Stay current in skills to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance
