Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Microsoft Teams Core Messaging group to collaborate on next-generation innovations and deliver on the future for Teams AI and Messaging products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience
• 4+ years experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong understanding of modern web technologies, front-end performance optimization, and responsive design
• Experience with integrating front-end applications with backend services
• Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux, MobX, or similar frameworks

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements
• Drive identification of dependencies and develop design documents
• Create, implement, optimize, debug, and refactor code
• Leverage subject-matter expertise of product features
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system status and initiate actions
