Software Engineer II - CTJ - Poly

Job Description

Microsoft is looking for a Software Engineer II in the Cloud+AI Azure Data team to develop features, enhancements, and bugfixes within Azure Data products used by a global customer base.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Candidates must meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including holding an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for Azure Data services.
• Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and address issues to enhance service reliability and maintainability.
• Automate production and deployment processes, ensuring functionality in non-production environments.
• Uphold compliance with security, privacy, safety, and accessibility standards.
• Integrate telemetry and data analytics to monitor system health and drive product refinement.
• Maintain live service operations, respond promptly to incidents, and implement solutions to complex issues.
