Software Engineer II - CTJ - Poly

Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a Software Engineer II to work on the Cloud+AI Silver Team, focusing on deploying and operating a Secure Work Area for collaboration in an airgapped environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet security clearance requirements, including U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
• Experience working on large-scale distributed services with on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Builds, enhances, and identifies new software developer tools to support programs and applications.
• Develops automation for production and deployment of product features.
• Maintains operations of live service and implements solutions for issues impacting performance or functionality.
• Integrates instrumentation for gathering telemetry data on system behavior.
• Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers in monitoring system/product/service.
