Job Description

Microsoft is looking for a Critical Environment Electrical Engineer to join their Cloud Operations & Innovation team. The role involves delivering infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Microsoft Azure platform.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience in UPS, Batteries, and Power Distribution
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop basic knowledge of industry trends, competitors' products, customer experience, and advances in various engineering fields
• Consult with other engineers to understand and apply advanced concepts
• Assist in creating and executing robust, scalable, secure, and extensible designs and/or verification plans for electrical engineering aspects
• Write design verification test cases, execute test plans, and develop automated testing solutions
• Implement hardware engineering aspects of features or products, track project plans, and communicate project progress/status
