Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Senior Software Engineer role in Azure Networking design with a focus on building infrastructure and hyperscale systems for high impact network services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• 2+ years experience in Networking, Distributed Systems, RESTful Services
• 2+ years experience in computer networking with a focus on layer 3 routing, BGP, and IPv6
• 2+ years experience in building networking cloud services
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for scenarios
• Drive identification of dependencies and develop design documents
• Create, implement, optimize, debug, and refactor code to improve performance and maintainability
• Guide other engineers by developing and following the playbook
• Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends and technical solutions
