Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Microsoft Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team building authentication libraries for Microsoft applications and third-party apps. This role involves designing and implementing secure, high-performance authentication components for seamless single sign-on and cloud resource access.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including Java or Kotlin OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience with Android development
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for a great developer experience
• Adhere to modern software engineering practices through design reviews
• Engage with customers through open source to deliver features that meet actual needs
• Improve test coverage, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas
• Gain a working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate to create cohesive experiences
