Job Description

Microsoft AI is seeking a skilled engineer to join the Copilot Personality & Personalization team, redefining human-computer interactions through AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as Python, C, C++, C#, or TypeScript
• Experience with training and optimizing large-scale language and multimodal models
• Experience in developing and deploying live production systems
• Experience in conducting research in academic or industry settings

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation in conversational AI for Copilot's personality and model behavior
• Conduct cutting-edge research around AI personality and model behavior
• Develop and optimize post-training methods to enhance AI performance
• Design and implement scalable AI models
• Collaborate across teams to integrate new AI capabilities into products
• Overcome roadblocks to rapidly iterate and deploy improvements
• Work in a design-driven, product-focused environment
