Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer - Azure Storage position at Microsoft involves contributing to the OSDU code base within the Energy sector, focusing on data ingestion, platform architecture, and AI/ML applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in Java, Python, or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience building large scale cloud services
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Influence OSDU technical direction and long-term vision
• Actively engage in OSDU milestone capabilities selection and scoping process
• Lead and mentor engineering teams across multiple energy projects
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and compliance standards
• Engage in the community through active participation in the OSDU community review process
