Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Senior Software Engineer role in Azure Core team at Microsoft focusing on building efficient solutions for Azure Cloud using cutting-edge AI capabilities and Copilot solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience with RESTful APIs, services and cloud development
• 2+ years development experience with Databases such as SQL Database, Azure Data Explorer/Kusto or MySQL/Postgres
• 1+ years of experience building solutions in Azure or similar clouds
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal developers and service team leadership to design, build, test, debug and ship quality solutions for improving reporting and organization of key data for carbon emissions in Azure
• Optimize existing solutions and propose new approaches to ensure Azure is the most reliable cloud for customers
• Work with service teams to implement feedback on proposed solutions in a timely manner
• Solve complex problems for efficiency across large data sources and increase reliability for integrations across customer facing Azure Services
• Provide technical support for existing internal and external customers
