Job Description

The Member of Technical Staff - Machine Learning Engineer will work on ensuring that Copilot's messages comply with content policies and organizational values, requiring expertise in data science and machine learning.

Requirements

• Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in data science, managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques, and reporting results
• Experience working with large language models
• Experience writing production-quality Python code
• Demonstrated interest in Responsible AI

Responsibilities

• Uncover and mitigate safety issues in consumer Copilot using subject matter expertise
• Oversee data acquisition or generation efforts
• Generalize machine learning solutions into repeatable frameworks
• Conduct thorough review of data analysis techniques
• Track advances in industry and academia to drive innovation
• Write efficient, readable, extensible code and model pipelines
• Contribute to defining the safety roadmap for Copilot
