Software Engineer II

Job Description

Azure Edge + Platform is seeking developers to work on innovative hybrid offerings that are industry-leading and help make them a reality on the Azure Stack Edge cloud.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• Experience with Azure, Google Compute Platform, or Amazon Web Services is desirable
• 3+ years of software development experience, preferably developing and running distributed systems
• Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc.)
• Excellent technical design, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related technical field is preferred
• Experience with Go, JSON/XML/YAML, REST, Web API would be useful

Responsibilities

• Research new areas, write optimal code, enhance coding standards, and ship fast
• Be customer-obsessed and focus on delivering elegant solutions that move the needle for the customer
