Critical Environment Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Microsoft is looking for a Critical Environment Electrical Engineer to support the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for its online services.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience
• Experience in Data Center or critical environments
• Background Check Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing knowledge of industry trends, competitors' products, customer experience, and advances in various engineering fields
• Consulting with other engineers to apply advanced concepts
• Creating and executing designs and/or verification plans for electrical engineering aspects of products
• Participating in creating intellectual property and filing patents
• Implementing solutions to technical challenges, testing, verification, and project implementation
