Senior Applied Scientist

Job Description

Microsoft is looking for a Senior Applied Scientist to design and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms for Microsoft Ads and beyond.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience OR Master's Degree AND 3+ years related experience OR Doctorate AND 1+ year(s) related experience
• 2+ years of experience in developing and deploying large-scale machine learning models
• Proven experience in programming and data analysis skills
• Proven expertise in Generative AI, deep learning, Reinforcement learning, or transformers

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy cutting-edge machine learning models to optimize user interactions and ad relevance
• Design scalable algorithms for online and offline systems
• Drive experimentation through A/B testing and offline validation
• Build robust data pipelines and frameworks for handling large-scale datasets
