Software Engineer II

Job Description

The Software Engineer II position in Microsoft's Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) organization involves working closely with product teams to bring new features to Windows products, ensuring quality user experience for consumers, enterprises, and Microsoft Cloud customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, or JavaScript
• 2+ years of experience with Win32 APIs and ability to design and implement robust system architectures and frameworks
• 2+ years of experience in performing regression testing
• 2+ years of experience with C, C++, or C#

Responsibilities

• Determining user requirements for features in collaboration with stakeholders
• Developing design documents for product areas
• Creating and implementing code for products or features, ensuring code is extensible and maintainable
• Planning and executing testing strategies, integrating automation features for testing
• Integrating telemetry data for system behavior analysis and creating telemetry outputs
