Incident Response Manager

Job Description

The Trust and Integrity Protection (TrIP) team at Microsoft is seeking an Incident Response Manager to join their dynamic team focused on privacy, cybersecurity, and security issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity incident response, security operations, threat detection, and analysis
• Knowledge of NIST 800-171 or other U.S. Federal government incident reporting requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed comprehensive triage and investigation on privacy/security events
• Collaborate with internal incident response partners for issue containment and remediation
• Contribute to developing standard operating procedures and playbooks for incident response scenarios
• Keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in cybersecurity
