Job Description

Seeking a visionary and technically adept Principal Engineering Manager to lead and expand the world-class engineering team for Azure VMware Solution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience with public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), and hybrid cloud architectures
• 4+ years of people management skills, with experience leading high-performing, diverse engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and grow engineering talent at all levels
• Ensure high standards for software reliability, supportability, and maintainability
• Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, continuous learning, and operational excellence
• Collaborate with Microsoft’s product, business, and customer engineering stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features
