Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Microsoft Security is seeking a Software Engineering IC4 to lead the design and implementation of robust workflows for Microsoft Purview solutions, optimize platform performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Distributed Services
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of robust workflows that streamline deployment and optimize the operations of Microsoft Purview solutions across specialized clouds.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction, reviewing code, and ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, security experts, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize platform performance to handle vast amounts of data across diverse digital systems while ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
• Work on cloud-native technologies and distributed systems to build a robust, resilient, and secure platform.
• Continuously improve the platform by leveraging new technologies and best practices in security, data governance, and cloud infrastructure
