Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

The Microsoft Security organization is looking for a Software Engineer focused on security to develop software, tools, and code to support security solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ year experience working with object-oriented programming languages like C#, Java, etc.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example within the team by producing extensible and maintainable code.
• Drives identification of dependencies and the development of design documents.
• Leads discussions for the architecture of products/solutions and creates proposals for architecture.
• Drive system and service integration, lead innovation through experimentation, develop scalable, high-quality solutions, embed operational excellence, promote engineering best practices, enhance developer productivity.
