Principal Software Engineer

Job Description

Microsoft Security is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Identity for Services Team, part of Microsoft Entra, to develop and maintain authentication and authorization components for various platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience
• 6+ years of experience designing, building, and operating scalable, highly available cloud services or distributed systems
• Experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles and architecture design
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing secure software solutions
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols
