Job Description

Associate, Software Engineering position at Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting software solutions for global businesses.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field with 1 year of experience OR Bachelor’s degree in the mentioned fields with 2 years of experience
• Experience in C++ or Java, full software development lifecycle, building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications, programming technologies like Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka, RDBMS such as Sybase or Oracle, Micro-services architecture design, and Database query languages like SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality, scalable technology solutions
• Assist in requirements gathering, user story refinement, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions
• Identify and implement new external technologies to transform financial businesses and internal platforms
• Work in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle to meet internal and regulatory requirements
• Design, implement, and maintain robust testing suites for safe and scalable solutions
