Job Description

Vice President, Software Engineering position at Goldman Sachs in New York, responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining software solutions for global businesses.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related field with 2 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5 years of experience
• Experience in C++ or Java, full software development lifecycle, building enterprise applications, programming technologies such as Spring and Hibernate, RDBMS like Sybase or Oracle, micro-services architecture, and database query languages including SQL or NoSQL

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable technology solutions
• Lead requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment processes
• Identify and implement new technologies for transforming financial businesses
• Work in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle to meet internal and regulatory requirements
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members
