Job Description

Associate, Software Engineering position with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in New York, New York. Develop, enhance, support, and maintain firm's software solutions for global businesses.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related field with 1 year of experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with 2 years of experience
• Experience with C++ or Java, full software development lifecycle, building enterprise applications, programming technologies like Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ or Kafka, RDBMS such as Sybase or Oracle, micro-services architecture design, and database query languages including SQL or NoSQL
• Ability to work in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality, scalable technology solutions
• Assist in requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment
• Identify new external technologies for transforming financial businesses
• Collaborate with internal teams on solution designs
• Maintain robust testing suites for safe, complete, and scalable solutions
