Staff Quality Engineer - EPC

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Staff Quality Engineer, Electric Power Conversion to join their team in building emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years engineering and/or quality experience
• In-depth knowledge of powertrain inverter design and manufacturing
• Knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit design
• Strong statistical and problem-solving capability, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic objectives with engineering to deliver products with exceptional quality
• Determine, track, and deliver key KPI’s to achieve quality targets and goals
• Collaborate with production integrators to develop quality planning
• Participate in product launch initiatives to meet timing and quality milestones
• Collaborate with other members of the engineering staff to support both project and internal R&D efforts
