Amazon is seeking Operations Engineering Interns to be part of their North America initiative to develop and deliver next-generation fulfillment systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related discipline
Ability to work 40 hours/week and commit to a 12-week internship
Experience with technical guidance for large-scale engineering projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and CAD skills
Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, transportation/logistics, and fulfillment/distribution centers
Responsibilities
Drive resolution for intern project by analyzing data and providing process improvement recommendations
Design, build, and innovate order fulfillment infrastructure within Amazon's supply chain network
Manage integrated automation projects and coordinate efforts between teams and vendors
Develop and manage budget and contract documents
Ensure proper training, compliance, and maintenance of equipment
