Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Process Engineer Intern/Co-op to join their team in North Reading, MA or Westborough, MA. This role involves manufacturing process optimization projects, creating business process models, and supporting supplier improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently working towards Bachelor’s or Masters Degree with a graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Masters, or PhD program physically located in the United States with at least one semester/term/quarter left to complete after the end of the co-op
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Eligible and available for a full-time (40h / week) co-op during the 6-month co-op duration
  • Knowledge of different process innovation methodologies and their practical application

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing process optimization projects involving data collection, cycle time studies, root-cause / problem-solving initiatives, and creation of training modules
  • Create business process models using best practice techniques, including current and future state solution design documents using requirements gathered
  • Gather, analyze and document functional / technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users
  • Support supplier improvement initiatives
  • Document Manufacturing / Tech OPs-specific process and project activities that support content and knowledge management initiatives
  • Participate in Lean Initiatives including but not limited to 5S performance auditing, Kaizen Event sessions
