Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring continuous access to innovation for customers. They are seeking a Data Center Civil Engineer to lead Civil Engineering designs for Amazon Data Centers.

Requirements

• Professional Engineering License or plan for achieving licensure within 12 months of start date
• 12+ years professional experience in commercial, warehouse, and/or industrial site-civil design experience

Responsibilities

• Manage external civil design consultants through the Data Center design and construction process
• Review designs for site layout, grading, power substations, storm water, utilities, and pavement
• Coordinate with internal and external architectural, structural, and MEP design engineers
• Develop and maintain design standards, prototypes, and template specifications for site design
• Lead initiatives to improve cost, quality, schedule, and consistency
