Job Description

Join a team of front-line responders supporting the operations of some of the world’s most customer-centric data centers at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Be a part of maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems within the world’s largest cloud computing portfolio.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or equivalent experience in a relevant industry
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from critical equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Conducting rack installs and decommissioning
• Performing maintenance, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Executing projects from conception to completion
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Adhering to safety and security practices
• Working in shifts up to 12 hours, including night shifts and on-call rotations
