Senior ELM Project Manager, DBX (Design and Building Excellence), Global Central Reliability Team

Job Description

The Global Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is seeking for a Senior ELM Project Manager for expanding Base Building Installation and Operational Qualification across North America and LATAM.

Requirements

• 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment

Responsibilities

• Manage new and existing Base Building Operational Qualification, successfully delivering projects and goals across multiple sites to measure building readiness
• Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions during the building testing
• Focus on overseeing the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the pre-launch testing program
• Manage the coordination and execution of planned shutdowns to facilitate necessary testing and maintenance activities
• Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate
• Influence design and development of strategic processes
• Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions
• Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers
• Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence
