Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Vehicle Power Electronics

Job Description

Tesla is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and develop manufacturing equipment and processes for cutting-edge power electronics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a hands-on mechanical or manufacturing engineer working on electromechanical systems
• Experience using 2D cad tools for conceptual line design and 3D design for mechanical equipment, fixturing, and tooling
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and processes for prototype builds and production
• Manage suppliers and equipment integrators for manufacturing equipment design and build
• Lead process analysis activities and provide Design for Manufacturability and Automation input
