Principal System Planning and Studies Engineer

Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Principal System Planning and Studies Engineer to join the Power Delivery & Renewable team. The ideal candidate will work on power system planning and studies for utility and developer clients in North America.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in Power System Planning and Studies
• Experience with key North American US Market Operators
• Proficiency with PSCAD and the PSS®E software package
• PE License certification

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow System Planning & Studies team
• Perform HVAC and HVDC power systems analysis activities
• Lead the development of power system planning & studies processes
• Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager, Program Manager, Account Manager and Technical Lead
• Serve as a mentor to junior members of the team
