Software Engineer II - One Drive/SharePoint

Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a Software Engineer II for the OneDrive and SharePoint services, responsible for creating and delivering features that impact millions of users worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience coding, debugging, algorithm design, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with building cloud-scale infrastructure components
• Experience with cloud-scale services and server/service management features

Responsibilities

• Work in large-scale distributed systems critical for global customers
• Design and deliver services managing internet-scale data stores
• Contribute to the vibrant engineering culture of OneDrive & SharePoint
• Contribute to collaborative design for product additions and changes
• Write clean, efficient code, and comprehensive tests
• Build coverage with metrics and telemetry for service monitoring
• Deliver features supporting hundreds of millions of customers worldwide
